No pretendemos inventar larueda de nuevo, sino apoyarnos en los conocimientos de los mejores del sector,su capacidad didáctica, sus canales de difusión. Los cursos incluyen tallerescomo Authorial Identity, impartido por Simon Roberts, Procesos de lacreatividad, impartido por Javier Vallhonrat, o Photobooks, por Martin Parr.
Además, ofrecemos un networking personalizado para losestudiantes, a través de colaboraciones con centros de arte, revistas defotografía y comisarios internacionales. Los proyectos finales se muestran enuna exposición colectiva, comisariada por el director del Master, y los mejoresproyectos optan por exposiciones individuales y publicaciones en el ámbitoeuropeo (festivales, centros, revistas, blogs, etc.). Los cursos se imparten endos idiomas, en inglés o en español. Es imprescindible un alto conocimiento deambos idiomas para la matriculación.
Las instalaciones del IED Madrid integran talleres, platós concicloramas, laboratorios y equipos informáticos de última tecnología. Adiferencia de otros programas, éste no incluye prácticas malpagadas enempresas del sector, pero sí visitas organizadas a empresas, charlas conprofesionales del ámbito local, participaciones en proyectos culturales y ladifusión de los proyectos finales.
