VOCABULARY
Students will have the chance to enrich their vocabulary through exposure to a variety of materials (articles, conferences, Internet). Particular attention will be paid to descriptive vocabulary (architectural styles, materials, designs, types of construction, etc.)
GRAMMATICAL STRUCTURES
A sound knowledge of English grammar is essential at this stage. Through text analysis and aural comprehension the use of the tense system and grammatical structures will be examined with the aim of consolidating or improving their existing knowledge. The material used on the course will be based on the standard of the Cambridge FC level. Weaker students will be expected to spend more time at home consolidating the work covered in class
ORAL FLUENCY AND AURAL COMPREHENSION
These skills will be worked on through a range of communicative activities using subject matters which will stimulate discussion and expression on an individual level, in pairs or at a class level
PRONUNCIATION
The most common pronunciation difficulties for Spanish and Catalan speakers will be dealt with in order to improve students spoken English and ease of expression
